My Old Pokemon Team: Haunter

Again here is my version of another stage in the evolution of a key fighter in my old Poke-team. Freddy did grow to be a strong Haunter which is how he stayed, until I and my Sister could nag my parents to get her a gameboy and a Pokemon game...me only thinking of the Gengar I would get via trade evolution...haha ;P 

My Old Pokemon Team: Gastly

Yes I am not the first to draw my own version of a Pokemon and we do see a great variety of people designing supposedly more "realistic" ideas of them. But I found myself being curious just about how my old Pokemon team would look or how Id imagined them back in the Gameboy days. Days of getting exited about how major hardcore Id once think my team to being. Also all my monsters had themselves a nickname that was usually comic or horror or film related...Mostly comic characters for my main Team, except with my Gengar (here he is in his baby days... Awww Gastly so cute) I named him after old Kills you in your Dreams Horror legend "Freddy K"

This is an old drawing I finally got around to colouring up digitally, have had it sat on my computer for a while with other odd bits also. Hope to get around to colouring and posting a few more soon. depends on how much more stuff i make for myself in all honesty.

Delirium who was once Delight...For my Sis

My Sister Lorraine and myself where only close when we where younger, she went through some changes just like the girl above and I was never very approving, in a way I gave up at being a brother at some point. About a week back my sister was hit by a car and killed I know that this is maybe not something I should put in a blog for my art work but this blog is more than just showing what skill I have. Its also sharing the inspiration, reasoning and general ideas behind any artwork and Delirium (the above character from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series) tends to be the only comic book characters who ever reminded me of my Sister and kind of made me hope that Id sort stuff out and build some bridges eventually. I find the similarity in the change of Delight into Delirium to be relative in a way to my sister and I may not be one for large emotional concern in family matters however I can get something out in a creative way and I hope or I like to think she would have liked this.
Its a small simple thing but its something. Rest in peace Sis, and Sorry.

Colour Burst RED

The Colour Burst idea was something I started a bit before christmas that grew out of doing a large page full of things relative to a certain feeling or type of genre or specific subject. After realising my occasional adding to these doodles and the theme I seemed to have in mind, I decided to do a series of them with the colours used all being in different shades of the title colour.

This is Colour Burst: RED i.e: Rage, Anger or Horror being the kinds of thoughts from such colour in this case.
